Abigail Murtagh has worked as an educator in New York City for fifteen years. She earned her BA from Yale University and her MA in Teaching of English from Teachers College, Columbia University. Abbey has worked as a teacher in both private and public schools, in both general and special education classrooms. She has developed materials and designed curricula for students across the learning spectrum. As a private tutor, Abbey has worked with students to tackle SAT prep, school subjects including math and writing, academic organization, and college and graduate school application essays. Her students have gone on to attend prestigious universities, including Princeton, Brown, Johns Hopkins, University of Chicago, Vanderbilt, Grinnell and Dartmouth. Abbey received training in reading interventions from Anita Archer and curriculum design from Kateri Kennedy.
